Another book I absolutely LOVE is Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind. It is truly a classic and a must read in my opinion. I need to read it again. The "sequel" Scarlett by Alexandra Ripley doesn't hold a candle to the original. Although I can understand why anyone would want to try and somehow get Rhett and Scarlett together in the end.

I love it too! But it has sad parts. I sometimes wish it had a nice comfortable ending where everything turned out right. "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."

I've read it twice, I think, and seen the movie several times. Every time I keep hoping the ending will change.
ok...the last line isn't "frankly my dear.."
Duh. I'm tired.
Well, it is one of the last lines in the movie! And probably in the last chapter of the book. :)
